A Seminar on bio-energy sponsored by the Department for Energy and Climate Change took place on 29th October 2008 at BERR Conference Centre, 1 Victoria Street, London.
The theme was to encourage regional uptake of biomass heat and power by industrial, commercial, public service and community users. The keynote speech was given by Lord Hunt, Minister of State for Energy. The seminar covered bio-energy policy, regional delivery and examples of successful implementation of biomass heat and power schemes from the Bio-energy Capital grants scheme.
