Enterprise Directorate Analytical Unit

The Analytical Unit provides a centre of expertise that creates and communicates knowledge of small business issues.

It has an influential role in promoting and developing evidence based policy. Specifically, the Unit works to build and develop the technically robust evidence base required for effective policy making, and help strengthen the Enterprise Directorate's influencing capability by developing an international reputation as a centre of expertise.

The work of the Analytical Unit covers three main areas: research, evaluation and statistics. The navigation buttons below will help you access more information about these areas.

The catalogue link below contains a list of research and statistical publications produced by the Enterprise Directorate Analytical Unit between 2001 and 2009. The spreadsheet contains a weblink to each publication and filters have been added to aid the searching of the catalogue.
