Minor Changes to Extant Open Individual Export Licences

Guidance notes which detail the minor changes which an exporter can make to an existing OIEL licence without having to submit a new application.

During the validity period of an OIEL an exporter can apply to make some minor changes to an existing licence without having to submit a new application.  Permitted amendments are:

  • a change to the name or address of a consignee already included on the OIEL,
  • the addition of a new consignee within a destination already permitted on the OIEL, and
  • a change to the colour of the equipment specified in the licence.
