UK Energy Sector Indicators 2006 is a supplement to the Third Annual Report on the 2003 Energy White Paper. It provides a set of detailed indicators to monitor the annual progress towards the policy goals and is structured in to three sections:
The 28 Supporting Indicators explain in detail the trends shown by the Key Indicators and the progress to date described in the 2006 Annual Report on the 2003 Energy White Paper.
These Key and Supporting Indicators are published in hard copy, available to order from the BERR Reports & Publications orderline, or are available to download from this website below.

The Background Indicators for 2006 are published on this website only and they can be downloaded in full or by main heading section.
The data used to compile the charts contained in UK Energy Sector Indicators 2006, including the Background Indicators, can be access from the excel workbooks below. For ease these are split into Key and Supporting Indicators for the printed document and into the five main sections for the Background Internet only document.
The charts and text included in UK Energy Sector Indictors represent a snapshot of the information available as at the time of publications.
