Cross-Curricular Programme for Pupils Aged 5 to 11 Years

This programme contains colour information cards, photocopiable activity sheets and posters to help 5- to 11-year-olds understand:

  • How each source supplies electricity
  • What each source looks like
  • Why renewable energy is so important for the UK
  • Which locations are suitable for each kind of renewable energy

The teachers’ notes include advice on how to use the programme and links to the geography, science and citizenship curricular.
