Welcome to the Department for Business, Enterprise & Regulatory Reform's (BERR) renewable energy education site.
As part of the It's Only Natural Programme, BERR has developed programmes for primary and secondary schools to provide information and teaching resources about eight key renewable energy sources.
The programme has been distributed to schools in the UK.
This site supports the It's Only Natural schools programmes by providing case studies and links to other useful websites - particularly for the geography programme. However, other teachers and students may also find this information useful.
Grants are available to help schools and other public sector and charitable bodies purchase and install microgeneration technologies through phase two of the Low carbon Buildings Programme. You can find out more information at the Low Carbon Buildings Programme Phase 2 website.
