The overall objective of UK Global Partnership is to assist the process of making Spent Nuclear Fuel (SNF) and radioactive waste safe and secure at Andreeva Bay (Kola peninsular) and at the Atomflot port near Murmansk, as well as defueling and dismantling decommissioned nuclear submarines. These activities help to diminish risks of a nuclear incident or leakage of radioactivity into the environment and the security risks represented by the associated nuclear materials.

Additional programme information may be located in our annual report. A PDF version may be downloaded from the Related Documents section located to the right of this page.
