The National Authority Advisory Committee (NAAC), is an Advisory Non-Departmental Public Body; as a public body it is covered by the Freedom of Information Act 2000. The Committee has drawn up a Publication Scheme which details the range of documents that the Committee has agreed with the Information Commissioner should be disclosed.

Ongoing work is being carried out to locate documents included within the publication scheme. However, the minutes, agenda and Chairman's brief for the NAAC meetings between 13th October 1997 and 18th October 2000 are only available in hard copy.
