Career Framework

The following describes an illustrative framework that may help civil service scientists and engineers think about the career options available to them. It should be read alongside locally produced career guidance.

The careers framework has two parts:

  1. General features - an in-depth description of the framework
  2. Schematic illustration - a pictorial summary including a collection of job examples. All the jobs that are used have previously been advertised on the Civil Service Recruitment Gateway.
