Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC)
Sir Alan Wilson has been appointed as the Chair of the Arts and Humanities Research Council (AHRC) for a period of four years. A copy of the press release can be found under related links.
CURRENT VACANCIES
The Department of Innovation Universities and Skills is looking to recruit new chairs for the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) and the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC). The Closing date was 19 November 2008. Interviews are on 26 January (BBSRC) and 9 February (ESRC). Both will be subject to pre-appointment hearings with the IUSS Select Committee. It is hoped to be able to make announcements next March.
