On 28 February 2006 the Government launched a nationwide consultation on the UK's draft National Strategic Reference Framework. The National Strategic Reference Framework is a requirement of the new EU Regulations for the Structural and Cohesion Funds for 2007- 2013 and will establish the broad priorities for future Structural Funds Programmes in the UK.
The consultation document also invited comments on two related issues: the UK Government’s proposals for distributing its Structural Funds allocations under the Competitiveness Objective; and administrative arrangements for delivering the Funds in the UK during the next budgetary cycle.
23 October 2006: Government Response and UK National Strategic Reference Framework published.
A Statement to Parliament from Margaret Hodge (Minister of State for Industry and the Regions), the Government's Response document to the consultation, the UK National Strategic Reference Framework and a Technical Annex may be downloaded from the links below.
The UK National Strategic Reference Framework, the Government Response to the Consultation and the Technical Annex will shortly be available in Welsh language versions.
