Enterprise Insight aims to help develop a culture of enterprise in the UK by running a national campaign promoting the spirit of enterprise to young people and those who influence them. You can find more information on the Make Your Mark Start Talking Ideas website.

The 2002 report Enterprise and the Economy in Education recognised that efforts to build a deeper and wider entrepreneurial culture must begin in schools. It recommended that all young people should have the opportunity to experience enterprise activity at some time during their school career.
In response the Government announced a new £60 million Enterprise Education entitlement to provide all Key Stage 4 (ages 14 to 16) pupils with the equivalent of five days enterprise learning. This covers innovation, creativity, risk-management and risk-taking, financial and business understanding.

The National Council for Graduate Entrepreneurship was launched in 2004 and aims to raise the profile of entrepreneurship and increase the number of graduates and students seriously considering starting and running a business.
