Since the commencement of the Enterprise Act’s merger provisions on 20 June 2003, intervention notices have been issued as follows:

… Anticipated acquisition of Alvis plc by General Dynamics Corporation.

… Anticipated acquisition of full control of AgustaWestland N.V. by Finmeccanica S.p.A.

… Anticipated acquisition of parts of the military communication and avionics businesses of BAE Systems plc by Finmeccanica S.p.A.  

… Anticipated acquisition of Insys Group Limited by Lockheed Martin UK Holdings Limited.

… Release and variation of undertakings given by BAE SYSTEMS relating to its acquisition of the Marconi Electronic Systems business of the General Electric Company Plc (March 2000).

… Acquisition of Smiths Aerospace by General Electric Company.
