Bulgaria, Romania and Ukbekistan: Military Goods OGEL: Exports or Transfers in Support of UK Government Defence Contracts, Amendments, December 2005

The Department of Trade and Industry has amended the OGEL (Military Goods: Exports or Transfers in Support of UK Government Defence Contracts): 

  • Following the adoption of an EU arms embargo Uzbekistan has been removed from the list of permitted destinations in Schedule 2 and 3 to the licence;
  • Bulgaria and Romania have been added to the list of permitted destinations in Schedule 2 and 3 to the licence;
  • The provisions for the export of protectively marked technology has been amended.

The amended licence came into force on 16 December 2005 and is up on the website.  Click on link in right hand column.
