Grid

At the March 2006 RAB meeting it was decided to reconvene a Grid Working Group, primarily to prepare a response to the Ofgem Price Control Review; the first meeting of this Group is scheduled for 12th June 2006.

Objectives and work plans are for the remainder of 2006

  • Identify impact of grid barriers on renewable projects (including Final Sums/ risk allocation and delayed connection dates/ queue management)
  • Provide an industry response to Ofgem Transmission Price Control Review proposals
  • Encourage developments by NGET and other parties that will remove grid barriers.
