Contact us about National Indicators

If you have a specific query regarding the technical definition of any of the National Indicators you can contact the PI-Team by using the online enquiry form below. Please also use the enquiry form if you need any advice or assistance with regard to the Place Survey.

We will respond to your query as quickly as possible. However, as many of the indicators in the set are new it may be necessary for your query to be referred to the government department owning the indicator. This will lengthen the time it will take to respond to your query. We will keep you informed so that you are aware of any potential delays. Your patience is therefore appreciated.

Before submitting your query, please ensure that it is not already addressed in either the Handbook of Definitions (including the web-links provided at the end of many of the technical templates) or any associated updates through the Latest News or FAQs.

Online Enquiry form

All of the data fields are mandatory as completion of these allows our computer system to match your query with any similar queries. This ensures that we give consistent and quick responses. Questions marked * are required fields.

We no longer provide access to technical support for CLG's Data Interchange Hub through this enquiry form. You should now submit all Hub-related queries directly to CLG through the Hub website (external link) itself (by clicking on contact us).

Please note that this change only affects Hub-related queries, and you should continue to submit any queries you have on the National Indicators technical definitions, including the Place Survey, and other Audit Commission Tools through this form.

Auditors - Please would you direct your query, including those on PI guidance, to ACTS as this is the technical support service specifically for auditors' queries as explained in the Standing Guidance to Auditors. Sending you query to ACTS enables us to record, categorise, analyse and monitor all auditors' technical queries and the response.
