ArmyNET Open is now closed

All MoD internet sites are subject to rationalisation and convergence by 2011.

Armynet Open is no longer available and it's contents has been transfered to other MoD web sites.

As part of the Coalition Government’s efficiency drive and on behalf of the Cabinet Office, the Central Office of Information (COI) (http://www.coi.gov.uk/ ) is driving an ongoing government-wide initiative – the Government’s Efficiency and Reform programme – aimed at reducing the number of government websites in existence. In accordance with this plan, MOD must review and consolidate its web presence by 31 March 2011.

This means that by 31 March 2011 all departmental websites that have not been granted exception status from Web Rationalisation must be closed and their content migrated to the appropriate single service website.
