When you get here
We’ll be in our uniforms, but please don’t dress formally for us. We don’t mind if you turn up in your jeans or your overalls. We just want to find out a bit about you and share our experience – so one of the team will sit down with you and talk about your life and the things you enjoy doing.
It’s a question of finding out if a career in the Army is right for you, so we’ll give you an idea of all the jobs you might want to look at – anything from chefs to tank crewmen, nurses to vehicle mechanics, electricians and much more – and give you a feel for Army life.

Ask us anything
You’ll probably want to ask about fitness and training, career prospects, operations, what you’ll get paid, where you’ll live… and much more. Whatever it is, we’re here to answer all these questions and more.

What happens next?
You’ll probably want to think things over after your first visit – and maybe pop back for another chat. Then, if you want to take it further, we’ll weigh and measure you to check your Body Mass Index (BMI). Then arrange a formal interview for you and give you an Army Contact form, an Army DVD and your application pack to take away. We can also arrange your British Army Recruitment Battery (BARB) test.
