There’s really no need to feel nervous about walking into our office – we’re all very approachable, so please pop in for a chat. Our team have many years experience between them – so you could say they are fairly well qualified to tell you what the Army’s all about. Our team have decades of experience under their belts and are only too willing to share it with you.

When you get here
As Army recruiters, we are all professional soldiers, so we will be in uniform. But it really doesn’t matter if you show up in jeans or work clothes – we’re just interested in getting to know a bit about you, what interests you have and why you’re considering the Army. One of us will sat down and have a chat with you about the many different jobs available – everything from chefs to tank crewmen, nurses to vehicle mechanics, electricians and so on. Together, we can start to find out if the Army is right for you.

Ask us anything
Usually, we get asked about fitness and training, what the opportunities for career advancement are like, the travel prospects and of course, pay. Whatever you want to know, just ask – that’s what we’re here for.

What happens next?
You’ll probably leave with a lot to think about. And you can always come back and see us again. As and when you want to take things further, we’ll first weigh and measure you to check your Body Mass Index (BMI). Then arrange a formal interview for you and give you an Army Contact form, an Army DVD and your application pack to take away. We can also arrange your British Army Recruitment Battery (BARB) test.
