Bishop Auckland
Come and see us in Bishop Auckland. We’re a relaxed bunch and we want you to feel the same way.
There’s really no need to feel nervous about walking into our office – we’re all very approachable, so please pop in for a chat. Our team have many years experience between them – so you could say they are fairly well qualified to tell you what the Army’s all about. Our team have decades of experience under their belts and are only too willing to share it with you.
When you get here
As soldiers, we’ll be in uniform, but you can come in your work kit or jeans – whatever you like. We’re just interested in what makes you tick, so one of us will sit down with you and talk about your interests, as well as the wide variety of Army jobs out there – such as chefs, tank crewmen, nurses, vehicle mechanics, electricians and so on. There are loads of opportunities – so this first get together is all about helping you get a feel for Army life and where you could fit in.
Ask us anything
People usually want to know about the training, career opportunities, travel prospects and, of course, the pay! We’ll tell you all that – and answer any other questions you have.
What happens next?
The first thing is to go away and think about it. You can always pop back in for another chat. If and when you want to take things further, we’ll first weigh and measure you to check your Body Mass Index (BMI). Then arrange a formal interview for you and give you an Army Contact form, an Army DVD and your application pack to take away. We can also arrange your British Army Recruitment Battery (BARB) test.
