Ashington

There’s really no need to feel nervous about walking into our office – we’re all very approachable, so please pop in for a chat.

Our team have many years experience between them – so you could say they are fairly well qualified to tell you what the Army’s all about.

Our team have decades of experience under their belts and are only too willing to share it with you.

When you get here
As you’d expect, we’ll all be in uniform – but it doesn’t matter what you wear. We’re more interested in who you are than whether you’re in work clothes or jeans.

One of us will take time to find out a bit about your life and your interests. At this stage you won’t know if the Army is the right choice for you. So we’ll simply tell you about the wide variety of jobs you could go for – such as chefs, tank crewmen, nurses, vehicle mechanics to electricians and so on – and give you a feel for Army life in general.

Ask us anything
Naturally, you’ll want to know about what the training’s like, what your career prospects could be, opportunities for travel, how much you’ll earn… and much more besides. Ask away! That’s what we’re here for.

What happens next?
You’ll have plenty to think about after your first visit, and might want to come back to talk some more. But if you want to go to the next stage, we’ll first weigh and measure you to check your Body Mass Index (BMI). Then arrange a formal interview for you and give you an Army Contact form, an Army DVD and your application pack to take away. We can also arrange your British Army Recruitment Battery (BARB) test.
