1ST BATTALION, THE YORKSHIRE REGIMENT
 (PRINCE OF WALES'S OWN)

Commanding Officer:  Lieutenant Colonel JC Price MBE
Location:  Oxford Barracks, Munster, Germany

Role:  Light Role Infantry
Current Tour:  Moved to Munster, Germany (August  2008) and as part of 20 (Armoured) Brigade will deploy on Operation TELIC 13 (Iraq) in November 2008.  One Company will deploy to Kosovo in October.

Location:  Weeton Barracks, PRESTON, Lancashire

Role:  Light Role Infantry
Current Tour:  UK Training having returned from Operation HERRICK 7 (Afghanistan) in April 2008.  Joined 11 (Light) Brigade on 1st June 2008.

3RD BATTALION, THE YORKSHIRE REGIMENT
 (DUKE OF WELLINGTON'S)

Commanding Officer:  Lieutenant Colonel AM Pullan
Location:  Battlesbury Barracks, WARMINSTER, Wiltshire

Role:  Armoured Infantry
Current Tour:  UK Training as part of 12 (Mechanised) Brigade and preparing to deploy to BATUS (Canada) in August 2008.  Companies will deploy on Operations HERRICK (Afghanistan) and TELIC (Iraq) in mid 2009.

4TH BATTALION, THE YORKSHIRE REGIMENT

Commanding Officer:  Lieutenant Colonel KD Rhodes TD
BHQ Location:  Worsley Barracks, YORK
 
Role: Territorial Army - Reserve Infantry
Current Tour:  Infantry Reserve as part of  15 (North East) Brigade.  On mobilisation, Individuals up to Company groups support operations including Operations TELIC (Iraq), HERRICK (Afghanistan) and TOSCA (Cyprus).  A formed platoon will deploy on HERRICK (Afghanistan) in September 2008.
