Cap Badge of the Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment

Regimental Headquarters The Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters Regiment (RHQ WFR) is based in Norton Barracks, Worcester with an outstation in Nottingham.  As well as being the Secretariat for the Commander in Chief and the Colonel of the Regiment they look after

The 1st Battalion

  The Regimental Association 

  The WFR Museums in Worcester, Nottingham and Derby.

 The Sherwood Foresters and Worcestershire and Sherwood Foresters War Memorial at Crich, Derbyshire.

 Two TA companies are badged WFR;

  • B (WFR) Company The West Midland Regiment based at Kidderminster
  • C Company 4th Battalion The Mercian Regiment based at Mansfield      

There are three Army Cadet Force Affiliations;

  • 5th (Cadet) Battalion WFR ACF in Derbyshire
  • B (WFR) Company of Nottinghamshire ACF in Retford
  • 1st Cadet Company WFR of the Hereford and Worcestershire ACF

We have further affiliations with HMS Nottingham, 13th Punjab Regiment (Pakistan), The Grey and Simcoe Foresters (Canada) and with The Worshipful Company of  Bowyers.
