WORCESTERS & FORESTERS WELFARE

The Commanding Officer is committed to the welfare and well being of all members of 1WFR and their dependants, and is fully aware that 1WFR soldiers will operate more effectively knowing that their requirements and that of their families are being catered for as and when required. To that end the Unit Welfare Officer is the Commanding Officers lead on welfare matters along with his team.

THE WELFARE OFFICE

The 1WFR Unit Welfare Office staff are here to help you. We have a well established welfare support system for both single and married personnel of the unit. If you require answers to individual questions please contact the Unit Welfare Office (UWO) direct. They can also put you in touch with the many specialised agencies available within the London District Area if required.

The UWO is located in Cavalry Barracks, next to the Sergeants Mess, parking is available.

WHATS HAPPENING

Coffe Mornings are held fortnightly in the community centre. The first one of 2007 will be on Thursday 11th jan 2007

Our aim.....

is to provide confidential welfare support to the Regiment and their dependants. Working alongside the Regimental chain of command we provide a confidential service for all personnel and their families.

We have close links with both military and civilian welfare agencies and can deal with or assist you in finding a solution for most problems.
