What's the Social Life Like?

An old boast in the Army is that we work hard and play hard. This certainly applies to life in an OTC and the major limitation is the time available to fit everything in:-

• About three times during the year the unit holds a formal dinner - an opportunity to don our best gear, enjoy a first class meal in like-minded company and then dance the night, and a good deal of the following morning, away. There is also a formal dinner at the Annual Camp

• Once every four weeks we have a unit disco after Wednesday training. These often have some kind of fancy dress theme - Rocky Horror, the inevitable Vicars and Tarts, etc-
