The TA offers something
different, challenging and worthwhile. It can also be great fun. The camaraderie
of the TA makes it a great club to belong to, but one which also works hard and
plays an essential role in the British Army.
The training you get in the TA will help you perform
your specific role in an efficient and professional way. it will develop your
character and build your confidence, challenging you both physically and mentally.
Joining the TA is not all about training: there's
a tremendous sense of achievement, there's excitement, and there's comradeship,
not to mention the social life!
Whether building a health centre in the African bush,
trekking up a mountain in Wales or skiing in Canada there are opportunities for
expeditions, adventurous training and sports in the TA.
