The CVHQ AGC commands four elements of Specialist AGC TA:



Field Administrative Offices (FAOs)

Each of the principal regular army Headquarters in the British Army is provided with an FAO to control and co-ordinate the cash and financial responsibilities required of a major force deployed on /combat or Peace Support Operations. The co-ordination of all the personnel, administration and records is also undertaken by the same team. Volunteers are needed with accounting and administraion experience together with computer literacy.



Royal Military Police

The tasks of the RMP are varied and include the signing and maintenance of essential military route systems, civilian / military police liaison and disciplinary and security work. Applicants need to be mature, fit, self motivated, with the ability to work with the minimum of supervision and have no serious previous convictions. Previous experience in the regular army or with the civil police is a must.



Specialist Linguists

The Army needs linguists with a wide range of languages. Applicants with previous service need to have a Standard Language Profile of 3333 and direct entrants must have a degree in a foreign language.



Specialist Legal Officers

Army Lawyers advise British commanders on the legal aspect of operations anywhere in the world. They also advise on military discipline, prosecute at Courts Martial and help soldiers and families with legal problems. Applicants must be qualified as barristers or solicitors of England, Wales or Northern Ireland; or as advocates or solicitors in Scotland. Barristers must have completed their 12 months pupilage.
