British Army Ice Hockey |
|
The British Army Ice Hockey constitution has now been established. Following on from a successful Inter-Services tournament in Slough the decision was taken that it was time to organise a committee to facilitate the formation of a team.
Players interested in training in the UK can attend the REME or RLC sessions. REME train on Monday nights in the Guildford Spectrum at 2330hrs. Whilst the RLC train on Sunday evenings at 2230hrs at Bracknell. Both sessions cost £5 per head and are open to all military and invited players. Players in Germany should contact either of the personnel on the contacts page.
Players in BATUS who are returning to either the UK or Germany are urged to contact Graeme Harrold for details of teams and training.
Existing players are encouraged to register to allow an accurate record to be kept of active players. This will aid in battle to have Ice Hockey recognised as an official Army sport. 2005 is our year.....
