All the pipers and drummers are Royal Signals tradesmen and include Communications Systems Engineers, Operators, Electricians and Driver Lineman/Storeman.
As well as performing at high profile ceremonial occasions including the Edinburgh Military Tattoo and Basel International Tattoo, the band is able to provide an extra dimension to any corporate or civil occasion.
The Pipes and Drums have travelled extensively during its existence. Pipers and Drummers have played together or as individuals in Italy, Russia, Switzerland, Israel, Denmark and Montenegro.
The Pipes and Drums' repertoire comprises of a Marching Band, Mini Band, Solo Pipers for weddings and funerals.
The Pipes and Drums are located in both Blandford, Dorset and Bramcote, Warwickshire at 30th Signal Regiment. Which means they are ideally positioned to complete engagements in the South, Central and the West with the added bonus of having considerably lower travel costs than that of a London based band.
The Pipes and Drums also works in conjunction with The Band of the Royal Corps of Signals and the Northern Band performing for International, National and local events.
