Are you ready for the Challenge? Click to find out.

We hope you have had a chance to explore the rest of the site! From a few minutes browsing it will be quite clear that a career in SCOTS DG offers an unmatched opportunity. We are always looking for high quality people and you should take a few moments to see how you might join.

SCOTS DG was selected to be the first armoured regiment to be equipped with the British Army's new main battle tank - CHALLENGER 2. This is hardly surprising when you consider our reputation, forged since 1678 and reinforced every year since.

During the Gulf War in 1990, one British general described SCOTS DG as "unbeatable"! However, life in the Regiment is not just about tank battles in the desert. It is also about developing every man as an individual, making friends and enjoying a varied life. A career with Scotland's Cavalry - the Royal Scots Dragoon Guards - is a career of first choice.

Whether you join for a couple of years or a longer period, you will leave with a fine set of qualifications and a view of your own potential. Within a short period of joining you will be earning over £200 a week (17 years or older) and - if you have not got one already - you will gain a driving licence. You will make firm friends during training and will be well looked after when you get to the Regiment. Click on the pictures to read some success stories from people just like you.
