LICSG has its HQ at the Basil Hill site in Corsham and is a National TA unit which responds rapidly to tasks around the world. It supports current and new LAN/WAN military secure infrastructures and Comms/Internet technologies.

Central Volunteer Headquarters Royal Signals (CVHQ) was formed in October 2001 to look after Royal Signals TA specialists. CVHQ Royal Signals also looks after the Royal Signals FTRS and Mobilisation effort.

81 Signal Squadron (Volunteers)

Specialist Pool
Members of the Royal Signals TA often have skills that are desirable to the Regular Army. The Specialist Pool allows the Army to use the TA for specialist tasks. An announcement will be made shortly detailing who and how these specialists will be employed.
