Royal Signals Sport

The Corps Colours

Sport has always played an important part of life in the Royal Signals and maximum opportunity is given to both officers and soldiers to take part in a wide variety of sports and adventure training. The primary reason for this is that sport, in all forms, is recognised as developing leadership qualities, team spirit and self reliance, as well as adding to the quality of life of any soldier.

You can find examples of the major sports played, and achievements of our current teams by clicking on the activity you are interested below.

 rsigs hockey

All recruits undergoing training at 11th Signal Regiment at Blandford take part in the 'Sport For All' scheme where they are introduced to a variety of sports which they may not have experienced before.
