Association Football

The Corps Colours

11th Signal Regiment have been the mainstay for football in the UK having won the Army 6 a-sides and Corps 7's. In 2002 they made it all the way through to the Army Challenge Cup Final losing to a strong REME side in the Final. They also won the 5th Division Premier League title  and the Divisional League Playoff Cup.

7th Signal Regiment are the main Corps football unit at present having performed consistently well over the past few seasons. They have won the Corps 7 a-sides for the past 2 seasons and also the Signaller Cup winners over the same period.

At Corps level, football had it's best season for 15 years as the Royal Signals won the Massey Trophy in 2003 and beat the Royal Artillery, Royal Electrical & Mechanical Engineers and the Royal Engineers in the Quadrangular Tournament in May 2003.

At Army level, the Royal Signals currently provide 6 players for the Army squad including the Captain and player of the season SSgt Alfie Alfred.
