The Band of The Royal Corps of Signals are one of the most respected and professional bands within the British Army. Although the Bands primary role is to provide a public face to the various units of the Corps, the next few pages will show the Band of The Royal Corps of Signals to be a versatile musical force able to compete with any similar organization worldwide.
As well as performing at high profile ceremonial occasions, the band is able to provide an extra dimension to any corporate or civil occasion.
The Band has travelled extensively during its existence. Recent tours include the following countries USA, Canada, Hong Kong, and Europe.
|
| The Band's repertoire comprises of a Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Orchestra and Dance Band as well as a number of smaller ensembles. The Band is permanently located in Blandford, Dorset which means they are ideally positioned to complete engagements in the South and the West with the added bonus of having considerably lower travel costs than that of a London based band. |
 |
The Band also works in conjunction with The Royal Corps of Signals Motorcycle Display Team (The White Helmets), The Pipes and Drums of The Royal Corps of Signals and The Blue Helmets Parachute Display Team, performing for International, National and local events.
The Royal Corps of Signals Band Forecast of events page has now been moved into ArmyNET. If you are a serving member of the Army or a dependant you can access ArmyNET by clicking here. The Forecast of events page can be found in the Royal Signals Community under HQ SOinC(A) - DCOS.
