3rd (UK) Division Headquarters and Signal Regiment provides command and control communications for 3rd (UK) Division which may be assigned to both NATO and national tasks.

Mission
To be prepared, within readiness, to deploy world wide - independently, or subordinate to a larger formation - in order to provide command support to joint and combined operations across the spectrum of conflict.
Role of the Unit
3 (UK) Division Headquarters and Signal Regiment plays a pivotal role in the Division's operational capability. The Signal Regiment must be capable of providing robust Communications and Information Systems, as well as professional administrative support to Headquarters 3 (UK) Division in order to enable the Headquarters to command the Division effectively on operations world-wide as part of a NATO, national or coalition force to conduct joint operations across the spectrum of conflict.
