ATTRACTIONS
 

There is much to see and do in Medway whatever your interests, whether it be shopping, visiting historical sites, museums, theatre, cinema, sporting activities, eating out, etc etc.

Shopping: 

There are many very good places to shop, from large shopping complexes such as Bluewater the largest leisure and retail centre in Kent, the Pentagon Centre in Chatham or the Hempstead Valley Shopping Centre all of which have good parking facilities. Town centre shopping is also extremely good in Chatham, Rochester, Gravesend and Gillingham.

 

Historical Sites and Museums:

 

It is not be possible here to mention all of the interesting places to visit, many are virtually on your doorstep such as:

Sporting facilities:

 

There are excellent sporting facilities throughout the Medway area.

 

The United Services Medway Sports Club exists to provide facilities for all sports clubs in Chatham Garrison. It has a clubhouse situated near Brompton Barracks which provides bar facilities for all sporting events held in the grounds and also may be booked for private functions. All Serving Personnel of the Armed Forces are eligible for full membership and may use the Club house. Sailing and Water Sports:

There are many sailing and water sport facilities along the River Medway, as well as along the coastline.

Equestrian – Lodge Hill Saddle Club:
