 THE RCT MEDAL COLLECTION

 This collection has two aims:

 ·        Firstly it portrays the history of the Corps through the medium of displaying medals awarded to Corps recipients, whatever their rank, for every campaign where the Corps was represented, since British military medals were first issued.

 ·        Secondly it acts as a resting-place for the unwanted medals awarded to Corps officers and soldiers whose families no longer wish to retain these medals in their care. Once donated into the collection these medals can never be disposed of or returned to the family.  In this way these medals have a safe and respected home within the collection in perpetuity.
