The Corps of the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers (REME) Stallions are the first UK based Army Ice Hockey Team.
Spurred on by our success, other teams across the Forces have formed teams based on existing and new players. Look out for the Inter Services Tournament later this year.
The REME team was formed in January 2000, comprising of virgin players, roller hockey players, previous recreational players and a couple of ex-junior's. Ice Hockey draws on the essential qualities required of soldiers - physical fitness, teamwork, controlled aggression, dedication, leadership and determination.
Training has moved back to Tuesday nights @ 2230hrs at Gosport.
