RAJA operates from RHQ REME and acts as a job placement agency for REME Officers and Soldiers of all ranks. The service is available for up to two years prior to the end of service and for as long after as the individual requires.

How does the RAJA work?
Officers and soldiers register using a job placement proforma. The individual details are then entered onto a database and when jobs are received, the database is searched and all those who are suitable for the vacancy are extracted.

Details are then forwarded to all those found suitable by phone, e-mail or letter, which then allows the individual to then contact the firm direct.
We network with the main service leaver organisations.
The Career Transition Partnership (CTP), Regular Forces Employment Association (RFEA), Service Leavers Support Teams (SLSTs) and Officers Association (OA).
We also have well established links with a large number of civilian businesses, job recruiting agencies and other Arms and Corps job placement agencies.
