VEHICLE MECHANIC: The REME Vehicle Mechanic is the main stay of the Corps. As a Vehicle Mechanic they can be expected to be employed anywhere in the Army.

The reason for this is simple, wherever there is an army vehicle in the world – there is a highly trained Vehicle Mechanic to make it work. The training provided with their skills and knowledge allows them to work an any number of military vehicles from 4x4 trucks, tracked infantry Warrior assault vehicles to one of the most sophisticated tanks in the world, the 60 tonne Challenger2.
