RECOVERY MECHANIC: Recovery Mechanics are highly skilled drivers and operators of very the specialist recovery equipment required to get stranded, overturned or broken down vehicles back on the road.
Recovery Mechanics have the job of racing into the field, recovering vehicles and getting them back somewhere safe where they can be properly fixed.
It is a physically arduous job.
Training lasts for 23 weeks and upgrade training every 4 to 5 years
