Society Proceedings
The Proceedings of the Society are published annually in the Spring. Proceedings for 2005 - Volume IX Number 4 - were published in March 2006. Some back numbers are available. See bottom of page for details.
1. The confirmed programme for 2007 is given below.
2. The Royal Regiment of Artillery finally moves out of Woolwich in 2007 after 291 years residence. The Society will mark the departure of the Regiment by holding its Summer Meeting at Woolwich in the form of a tour of military Woolwich - the Royal Artillery Barracks, the Royal Military Academy and the Royal Arsenal - and having the Society Dinner in the Royal Artillery Mess. We intend to invite the Master Gunner and DRA and hope that as many members of the Society as possible will attend, with their wives if they wish.
3. The Proceedings of the Society for 2006 are now being prepared and it is hoped to publish them in the New Year.
4. The Secretary notes that some members have paid their 2006-07 subscription twice - once to the old account in London and once to the new account in Amesbury. He is in the process of resolving this and will be in contact with those who are affected.
