Challenger 2 being
put through its paces

 

The 65 ton Challenger 2 Main Battle Tank is one of the most formidable tanks in the world. Challenger 2 packs a 120mm gun and two 7.62 machine guns and can travel at speeds in excess of 45 kph. Tanks act upon the information gained by the Recce troops and provide the commander with the punch necessary to deliver the decisive blow in battle. You will be part of a 4 man crew in a 3 tank troop of 12 men.

You will be using the most accurate and powerful gun as well as one of the best protected tanks in the world. As a soldier you will be trained to drive and fire the tank and will also be trained in the use of the state of the art on board communications equipment. You will learn to identify, engage and destroy static and moving enemy tanks and other targets whilst you are also moving and all in a matter of seconds. Capable of firing out to ranges in excess of 2 kms you will have the means to destroy the enemy first time, every time.
