WELFARE OFFICER
A vacancy will arise in April 2007 for the post of Welfare Officer to replace Major George Correa who is retiring. This is a key post in the Royal Artillery Charitable Fund, the largest regimental charity, responsible for the assessment of individual cases and the provision of charitable financial assistance to serving and retired Gunners in need. The post requires tact and diplomacy as well as an eye for detail. Successful liaison with other charitable organisations is essential. Briefing ability, both written and oral is required. Computer literacy is essential. You will manage a small team. Knowledge of the Royal Regiment of Artillery is beneficial.
