Kneller Hall

Kneller Hall, Twickenham, home of the Headquarters Corps of Army Music and the Royal Military School of Music.

 

HQ CAMUS is responsible for the policy, organisation and running of the Corps including:

  • Guidance on the tasking of bands 
  • Professional efficiency
  • Training
  • Future development
  • Recruiting
  • Manning
  • Career management
  • Appointment of personnel
  • Examining authority for trade qualifications
  • Websites and Social Media

Amongst these tasks, the Director and his staff conduct advisory visits to all CAMUS and TA bands.  They check that the bands are able to perform all their roles to a high standard and that they are correctly administered.

Booking a band

To enquire about booking a Regular or Territorial Army Band you should contact the HQ Land Forces Tasking Cell:

  • SO2 Band Tasking: Lieutenant Colonel S A B Ward

Requests should normally be submitted 6 - 9 months in advance, longer notice for overseas engagements.
