The Band are always looking for talented musicians interested in a career in Army Music. If this Band has no vacancies then there may be a place for your talents in another of the 22 Regular Bands within the Corps.

The employment opportunities for a full time performance career in the music industry are very hard to find and secure:

The Band and Corps run residential 'Insight' courses in each year. The courses are available to anyone over the age of 14, who plays a musical instrument to at least ABRSM grade 5 or equivalent standard.

  • 21-25 November 2011

There are other courses throughout the year at other bands or at the Royal Military School of Music.

The course, which is completely free, will provide an honest and realistic insight into army life within the Corps of Army Music and indeed the band. This includes working along side the band and learning some basic military skills.
