As well as a very good marching band and symphonic concert band capability the band has a number of smaller ensembles available: 

• Brass quintet - Performs at a wide range of functions and due to its versatility is one of the most sought after ensembles within the band.  They can provide a centre stage concert, dinner entertainment or light hearted easy listening for a fete or garden party.
• Woodwind quintet - This ensemble provides a touch of class and elegance in the most traditional manner to an intimate event. Suitable for all occasions, the woodwind quintet regularly performs at events such as;  small informal dinners, wedding receptions and large corporate events. So, no matter how large or small, this subtle and refined group will add grace and  sophistication to any event.
• Saxophone quartet - Increasingly in demand, this delightful quartet can take centre stage or simply provide a backdrop to your function. If space is at a premium but style is what is required then the saxophone quartet may well be just what you are looking for.
• Soul band - "REMIX".  One of the newest additions to the REME Band, REMIX is a Soul Band like no other.  Led by the lead vocalist Cpl Dave Bailey, REMIX performs regularly at various functions from public concerts to private weddings.  REMIX’s repertoire is extremely varied, from James Brown to Amy Whinehouse you’re bound to hear something to get you up on to the dancefloor !
• Big band - The REME Big Band is one of the most versatile groups in the Band.  It can be found performing at anything from a formal concert alongside our Concert Band, to informal dinners and weddings.
  The repertoire of the REME Big Band is exceptionally varied, playing Glenn Miller classics like In the Mood and American Patrol, to more contemporary modern big band music by composers such as Gordon Goodwin. So if you're into Jazz and would like to hear the REME Big Band just come along to one of our concerts.
• Dixie band - A traditional jazz band in the true New Orleans style. The most relaxed and easygoing ensemble within the band, it is guaranteed to break down all barriers and get everyone "foot-tapping" and "finger clicking". With music from Louis Armstrong to Acker Bilk and Kenny Ball, this group will keep your audience entertained for hours.
• German band - German Oompah band will have your audience tapping their feet and clapping to all the well-known German drinking songs and party pieces. The German Oompah band is the perfect centrepiece for a theme night where you want everyone to let their hair down and have a great time.
• Fanfare team - The resplendent sound of the band fanfare trumpets can add a touch of pageantry and panache to any occasion such as award ceremonies, event openings and product launches.
