Latest CD

At the beginning of November 2009, we had a 3-day recording session for two CD's which are now available to purchase.

The recording also involved the Pipes and Drums and Bugles from 1 Royal Irish Regiment and also the 5th Battalion the Royal Regiment of Scotland.

The first CD is a collection of reflective and poignant music which is often used at remembrance and memorial services up and down the country.

Pieces that have been recorded include Elgar's Ave Verum Corpus Op.2, Nimrod as well as other music used for remembrance services.

The second CD is 16 Air Assault Brigade's tribute to the 70th Anniversary of Airborne Forces. It involves all the Regimental Marches of units serving within the Brigade, and traditional bagpipe music such as 'Highland Cathedral and Scotland the Brave'.
