Are you interested in a career in Army Music?
Come along and find out if it's for you!

The Band of the Royal Corps of Signals holds two Insight Courses each year at Blandford Camp, Blandford Forum, Dorset. They are available to anyone over the age of 14 who plays a brass, woodwind or percussion instrument to at least grade 5 or equivalent standard.

The week-long course is completely free and will provide an honest and realistic insight into life as a military musician within the Corps of Army Music and specifically in the Band of the Royal Corps of Signals.  Attendees will work alongside the Band and will learn some basic military skills including an overnight exercise.

In short, it is the best way to find out if a career in Army Music is for you or not!

  • Perform alongside members of the Band of the Royal Corps of Signals
  • Take part in a marching display
  • Participate in a wide variety of military skills
  • Make new friends
