The Band are always looking for talented musicians looking for a career in music. If our Band has no vacancies then there may be a place for you in another of the 22 regular bands within the Corps.
The employment opportunities for a full time performance career in the music industry are very hard to find and secure:

If you play an instrument to roughly Grade 6 ABRSM standard then you could become part of the UK's largest single employer of musicians.
The best way to do this is to contact the Bandmaster and enquire about visiting the band on one of our 'Insight Course' weeks or a day visit or just to discuss the options of a career as an Army Musician. These are run throughout the year and will give you a real insight into what it is like to be a musician within an army band. You will need to be age 14 years and over and approximately grade 5 or more on you instrument.
